Review for The Knight (The Stolen Duet #2) by B.B. Reid: ★★★

The Knight (The Stolen Duet #2)The Knight by B.B. Reid

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was kindly provided with ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have given it 3.5 stars.

This book basically picks up where The Bandit left us on that cliffhanger that had you begging for the next book. Unfortunately the wait has been a long one and I would love to be able to say it was worth it but I can't.

I loved the action and the twisty turns that this book takes you on and the fact that the story has pretty much been wrapped up with no unanswered questions but one, which we should hopefully have the answer to one day.

The wild ride I was expecting however never happened. In fact the whole story felt a little disjointed, the timeline jumped about and the middle got a little confusing with all the names that were being thrown around at one point and the ending if I am being honest felt a little rushed. I am just so disappointed that this book wasn't given the justice it deserved. It should have been epic but it just fell flat.

Sorry, it just wasn't for me.
