Let Me be Your Hope
Lynsey M. Stewart
Lynsey M. Stewart enjoys writing stories about characters that experience a few bumps in the road before finding their happily ever after (also known as contemporary romance with plenty of heat…) She lives with her husband, her soulmate and muse, along with their gorgeous, precious, ridiculously independent little girl. Lynsey began writing after being inspired by great books, amazing writers and wonderful stories that she couldn't stop thinking about long after reading the last word. If she’s not writing you can usually find her with her head in a book or singing along to music. She’s hopeless, but she enjoys pretending to be Adele every once in a while.

Let Me Be Your First
Elle Davis is a hopeless romantic, an epic daydreamer, and best friend to party girl Abi. Oh, and she’s also a twenty-three-year-old virgin. She has always dreamed of love at first sight and the fairy-tale ending; however, as the burden of her virginity increases, so does her sexual curiosity…
In her mission to find Mr Right, Elle inevitably stumbles across Mr Wrong. Following a chance encounter with a colleague, she decides to take the first steps…
Luke Simms is funny, sexy and cocksure with as much baggage as the lost luggage department at Heathrow airport. He doesn’t do commitment, but he does offer Elle the experience she craves.
Ben Newman is romantic, witty and drop-dead gorgeous. He is also chasing the fairy tale. But after a string of dating disasters, he’s ready to give up on the dream and end the search.
Find out if Elle saves Luke Simms from his mission of self-destruct or if she ends Ben Newman’s search for his fairy tale…
*Warning*
This novel contains strong language, particularly from a senior citizen who is old enough to know better, and a wild girl who frankly doesn’t give a f**k. There are also descriptions of sex, therefore this novel is only suitable for 18+
This is the first book in the Music and Letters series but can be read as a standalone.
Let Me be Your Hope
Abi Sinclair is a determined social worker and committed party girl. She’s independent, ballsy and living the single girls’ dream. But underneath the bravado and empty one-night stands, she's hiding a broken heart…
Jamie Dawson is Abi’s lost love, the only man who ever made her feel alive. When he left Nottingham two years ago to take care of his terminally ill mother, they agreed to communicate only by letter, both believing their love was meant to be.
One regrettable lie forced them down very different paths.
One rash decision forced them apart.
But Jamie is back. And he’s Abi’s new manager. Only he’s a different man—too different.
Desperate for answers, Abi won’t stop until she uncovers the truth behind Jamie’s two-year absence…
This novel contains strong language, mainly from Abi. She can’t help it. Jamie is guilty too, particularly when passion gets the better of him.
There are also descriptions of sex, therefore this novel is only suitable for 18+
This is the second book in the Music and Letters series but can be read as a standalone.

I’m a UK based writer. I live with my husband, also known as my soul mate and muse, along with our gorgeous, precious, ridiculously independent six-year-old daughter. I began writing after being inspired by great books, amazing writers and wonderful stories. I’ve never written seriously before, although it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. My working background revolves around helping, advocating and supporting children, young people, and their families.
I love to spend time with my family. I love to shop. I love to read. If I’m not writing you can usually find me with my head in a book.
I’ve always had stories swirling around in my head. I’m a huge daydreamer and some of the ideas I’ve used in my books have grown over many years. I read the Fifty Shades series and really got into reading indie authors. The more indie books I started to read, the more the pull to write started to grow. It got to the point where the character’s voices were becoming louder and I couldn’t ignore them anymore!
I’ve always loved reading romance. It’s rare that I deviate from it. For me, the build up and bumps in the road that create tension between characters are a joy to read, probably because I am a hopeless romantic and believe everyone will have their happy ending.
Ultimately, I wanted to write books that I would enjoy reading.
4. When you are not writing, what can you be found doing instead?
Reading, eating, shopping and sleeping. Preferably in that order.
5. Have you ever suffered from writer's block? If so, How did you overcome it?
I find alcohol, chocolate and a spa day usually helps. Seriously, I do believe in taking breathers when I start to find writing more of a challenge and the words won’t come. Rather than push myself and make it feel forced, I would rather stop, listen to some music or read to get the inspiration back.
I’ve just finished Bohemian by Kathryn Nolan. I hugely admire her for many different reasons but her talent for writing is immense.
I would be a complete fangirl if I were ever in a position to co-write with Brittainy C. Cherry. It could be a novel or a shopping list and I would still be ecstatic!
I’m working on book three of the Music and Letters Series called Let me be your Truth. It’s Kate’s story and she meets a bad boy who turns her world upside down. It’s probably the steamiest out of all the books so far.
If you have an idea that won’t go away, listen to it. Once you start,
make sure you have a great team of support around you. I had amazing authors willing to share their own experiences and they gave me some fantastic advice. Always ask for beta feedback before publishing. Be open to criticism and use it to elevate your work. Finally, do not underestimate the importance of a good editor and Proofreader. They have the potential to make your words shine. Search until you find the perfect match, you won’t regret it.

❂Lynsey's Top Five Characters❂
- Christian Grey.
He’s iconic. Whatever you think about the books or writing style, EL James has paved the way for indie authors. Ask anyone who Christina Grey is and they are likely to know. Plus, the films enable me to see Jamie Dornan simulating sex. He gives good sex face.
- Henry Wolf
Henry Wolf from the Wolfcove Series by Nina West has to be one of the sexiest alpha males I’ve read. Nina writes amazing sex scenes and I devour her books in a matter of hours. Henry is one of my favourite book boyfriends.
- Riley Walsh
Kate Canterbary’s the Walsh Series is a master class in writing. Honestly, every one of her characters should be on this list! I loved how Kate developed Riley’s character throughout the series. She has a great talent for weaving multiple stories together. The fans waited a long time for Riley’s HEA and she didn’t disappoint.
- Jamie Dawson
Jamie is the male lead in Let me be your Hope. He’s a sensitive alpha. My favourite type. Jamie’s the type of guy who will spank you in the bedroom and soothe you with lotion when you’re sated and spent.
5. Ben Newman
Ben is the male lead in Let me be your First. Ben was the first hero character that I wrote. He has many similar character traits to my husband so he has a special place in my heart.

Cruel and Beautiful by A.M. Hargrove and Terri E. Laine is so cleverly written and multi-layered. It was the first book that made me ugly cry nonstop—for about three days.
The Air he Breathes by Brittainy C. Cherry remains my favourite book of hers. Brittainy was born to write.
Shattered Perfection by Heather Guimond has everything you want in a book. It’s funny, sexy and heart breaking.
Underneath it All by Kate Canterbary. It’s book one in the Walsh Series. Start here. You will thank me for the journey.
