Rapture by Sloane Murphy
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::
I was very kindly provided with an ARC to review in exchange for an honest review. My rating is 3 stars.
Rapture is the 4th installment in The Immortal Chronicles and must be read in order to appreciate the full story.
This is one of those reviews that I don't like to write but this series had so much potential and Rapture was no different. The bare bones of this story is there but it was lacking any real depth, in fact for the most part Rapture felt rushed and under developed which is a real shame because the premise of this story is quite enticing.
The characters were also under developed and the story line felt like huge chunks were missing in an effort to move the story along which spoiled it a little bit for me.
It's not bad for a short story but I would have preferred a few pages to do the story the justice that it deserved.

Rapture, The Immortal Chronicles #4
The Final Installment
I never wanted to lie to her, but I knew I couldn’t keep her safe if she knew.
I hurt her, more than I ever wanted to and I have to live with that each day that I’m away from her. But one day she’ll know, that every day spent away from her was hell.
Watching her move on.
Watching her change.
But it will all be worth it once she’s safe.
Even if she doesn’t know it, she is my Rapture.
