Review for Sinner (Priest, #2) by Sierra Simone: ★★★

Sinner (Priest, #2)Sinner by Sierra Simone

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was kindly offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have given it 3 stars.

When Sierra Simone announced another book in the Priest series, told from the POV of Sean, I was so excited. Priest was one of those books that stayed with you long after you had finished it. It is still one of my favourites three years later but Sinner unfortunately will not be making that list.

Sinner is a forbidden romance, almost taboo due to the religious aspects of this book, some people may find that too much but that is one of the beauties of the priest series. It's naughty and it's down right steamy. Sierra has the sexyness on point and does not disappoint.

I love Sierra's writing style however there was just something about Sinner that didn't really pull me in a reader. Don't get me wrong it was still the hot and steamy romance I expected from this author but there were other aspects of this story fell a little short in my opinion.

This book could be read as a standalone, however you don't want to miss out on the other books in this series.
Check out this book if you like naughty, taboo stories that will set your pulse racing.

Blurb

I’m not a good man, and I’ve never pretended to be. I don’t believe in goodness or God or any happy ending that isn’t paid for in advance.

What do I believe in? Money. Sex. Macallan 18.

They have words for men like me—playboy. Womanizer. Skirt chaser.

My brother used to be a priest, and he only has one word for me.

Sinner.
