I bloody love this series!!
After reading and enjoying the first two books in the Wicked Bay Series, I couldn't wait to dive in to Wicked Lies. However, I knew very little about this book and had expected a continuation of Lo and Maverick's story but I quickly realised we were getting the charming Kyle Stone and his love interest Laurie's story. What a story it was!
I probably enjoyed their tale as much as I did Lo and Maverick's .
Wicked Lies lives up to it's name, it's full of secrets and tension and although me find out early on what it is that Kyle is hiding from his friends and family, L.A. Cotton does an absolutely fantastic job of building the tension between Kyle and his loved ones as they deal with the fall out of Kyle's lies.
This was another absolutely brilliant story in the Wicked Bay Series! The author is an amazing storyteller drawing her readers in into a captivating story that hooks you and refuses to let go, I couldn't put it down.
I can't wait to see where she takes us next.
