Review for A Romance in Cornwall by Laura Briggs: ★★★

A Romance in Cornwall (A Wedding in Cornwall Book 7)A Romance in Cornwall by Laura Briggs

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was very kindly provided with an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. I have given it 3 stars.

This is the first book I have read by Laura Briggs and I have a feeling that maybe I should Started with the first book in the series. Although A Romance In Cornwall does give enough background detail for it to make sense to new readers.

Book 7 in this series is the perfect accompaniment to a cool Autumn evening as the warmth of summer begins to fade.

Blurb

Julianne and Matt are back to their old lives in Cornwall, and enjoying a peaceful spring in their beloved village. When a famous romance novelist chooses Ceffylgwyn as the location for her next novel, however, excitement begins to build for the prospect of a love story putting the village on the literary map! But as Julianne soon learns, author Rowena St. James's attempts to find romantic inspiration are anything but successful ... and the reasons could mean an 'unhappily-ever-after' for her future novel.

With rugged cliffs and lovers' meetings, stray dogs, and a haunted forest of Cornish 'piskies,' life in the sleepy Cornish village isn't dull in Book Seven of the best-selling romance series.
