The Fake Date
Nine hours and eleven minutes…
That’s how long it’s been since Ella Hope was beaten to within an inch of life and left for dead.
She lies, unable to move and praying for somebody to find her, as she counts down the minutes and wonders
who could have hated her so much to have hurt her so badly.
who could have hated her so much to have hurt her so badly.
Was it the man she went on a date with the previous evening, the man linked to the deaths of two other
women? Or somebody else, somebody who wants her out of the picture so much they’re willing to kill?
Whoever it is, they will pay … all she has to do first is survive..!women? Or somebody else, somebody who wants her out of the picture so much they’re willing to kill?
**Review**
The Fake Date by Lynda Stacey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::
I was very kindly offered a review copy in exchange for an honest review. I have given The Fake Date 5 stars.
Fake Date has an incredibly eye catching cover, simple but very, very effective. However, it's the opening chapter that pulls you in and grips you. I was hooked and read this story in one sitting!
Lynda Stacey takes the reader on a journey of suspense with lots of twists and turns, most of which you won't see coming. It was an incredibly great read from start to finish giving me goosebumps along the way.
I will definitely be reading more from this author.
