Review for Touchdown by Alexa Summers: ★★★★★

TouchdownTouchdown by A.J. Phoenix

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was very kindly offered an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Holy hell! I just had to give it 5 stars!!!!

I'm just gonna put this out there that sports romances are NOT my thing! However, Touchdown absolutely blew me away.
The writing, the chemistry - just everything was perfect and together it made for one heck of an addictive story. I read this in one sitting as I could not put it down. It was fast paced and filled with lots of sex, angst and a whole lot of drama.

It was so well written, the author's writing style seemed to flow effortlessly, drawing me in to this story.

The complex characters were well developed and seemed to breathe life into an already great story and gave it an added depth.

I loved every word!

Blurb

It all started with a towel drop...

"...that’s one of the reasons I became a sports reporter—so I could run into the men’s locker rooms and see them walk around in the buff. I’m not kidding. I accidentally walked into the boys’ locker room in my freshman year in high school to see all the seniors naked. It was a defining moment in my life. It was then I decided what I’d do for a living. My calling."

Lexi Driver is ESAN's top sportscaster, but when she makes the mistake of humiliating quarterback Brett Brock on national television, Brett Brock demands an apology. Lexi would apologize...if she could find something to feel sorry about.
