Let me start by saying what a gorgeous cover this book has!

This is not my first trip in Sloane Murphy's world, so I am familiar with her style of writing but the draw of "Fae" characters was too much to resist.

However, I realized this story featured similar themes to the ACOTAR series, so I thought I would be in for real treat. However, by the end I was left feeling confused about how I felt about this book.
There were some aspects of this book that I loved and some that I didn't love so much, unfortunately.

I didn't find any of the characters to be all that likable, they were all incredibly fickle and their personalities seem to switch back and forth. I just couldn't relate to them in any way.
However, the actual story was pretty good! There was so much going on and it was happening at a reasonable pace with enough twists and turns to keep me turning the pages and the cliffhanger was probably enough to have me reaching for the next one.
