Review for Wicked Promises (Wicked Bay, #7) by L.A. Cotton: ★★★★

Wicked Promises (Wicked Bay, #7)Wicked Promises by L.A. Cotton

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

::..Reviewed for Red's Midnight Readers..::

I was very kindly offered an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have given Wicked Promises four stars.

Admittedly whilst I love the Wicked Bay series, Wicked Promises was not my favourite. It was certainly not what I was expecting from either Summer or Jb. Up until now JB has always been the bad guy and Summer has always been an unassuming character in the background of everybody elses story and I wasn't sure how these humdrum characters would fare. I need not have worried both Summer and JB stepped up to the mark and their story packed a punch from the very first page.

I was surprised however at how fast this story progressed but I felt it lacked a lot of the angst from the previous books.

Nonetheless it was still an enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it!

Everything.

Until she finds comfort in the arms of an unexpected savior.

There’s only one problem—he can’t promise forever, he can only give her right now.
